5 ways to LOOK classy and feminine

My dearest ladies, today we are looking at ways that we as women can look effortlessly refined, polished, classy, and feminine. I've read so many writings on femininity and elegance and I must say that it has contributed a lot to how I look, carry myself, speak, and my confident.

Ladies to be classy and feminine does not require you to have or spend a lot of money. It does not require you to be of a certain age, skin color, or race. Every lady on planet earth can look and feel classy and feminine every day. I wrote this article for all the women who want to change their looks, add to their looks, feel good about themselves, and boost their self-confidence.

  1. Don't wear dirty clothes

This is a given. No one should walk around wearing dirty clothes. Ladies, wearing dirty clothes will cheapen your looks. It will make you look like you don't love yourself. Believe me, people will even doubt you do take baths. So from now on whether you are sitting comfortably at home, with your closest friends or going to your nearest shop say no to dirty clothes. Remember people do judge us based on our looks, clothes for that matter. Ladies, say no to wrinkled clothes too, always keep and wear your clothes cleans and ironed.

2. Do manicure and pedicure

Most of the time we turn to focus on our faces and we neglect our hands and feet. Taking care of your nails both on your hands and feet will alleviate your looks and will make you look clean, polished, and classy. I would advise that ladies, you avoid long, colorful, or over-decorated nails. Any color that is close to looking natural will do you wonders. If you are unsure which color to look for try french for both your hands and feet or white on your feet. As a dark skin woman, I have always been hesitant to wear white nails but let me tell you, I wore it once and I have been obsessed with it to date.

3. Wear fitting and tailored clothes

My dearest, I know this point will rub some of you in a bad way but listen to me, wearing clothes that do not fit you properly whether they are too small or too big does not do you any favor at all.

Wearing the correct clothing size will make you look put together. Clothes that are too small or too big cheapens our looks and let face it they also make us feel uncomfortable and not beautiful. I would strongly advise that you buy your perfect size if not have your clothes tailored to fit you perfectly.

4. No harsh makeup

My dearest this is self-explanatory. I don't want to dive deep into it. Less is more. Let us avoid over-the-top and colorful eyeshadows and please let's move away from those bold and vulgar Instagram eyebrows. I am not saying don't wear make-up in fact I believe that we should not leave our homes without having our face done. I would advise that you use makeup to highlight the features that love and conceal those that you don't like e.g uneven tones or dark spots. Remember makeup doesn't make it up for unhealthy and dirty skin. Let us keep our faces clean inside and out. Drink water, eat your greens, and get enough sleep for better-looking skin.

5. Buy and wear quality fabric

When I was starting my self-improvement journeyI learned the importance of the fabrics our clothes are made from. I have moved away from buying fast and hot fashion and that has changed my wardrobe a lot. Why do you need to invest in the fabrics of your clothes? Ladies, clothes that are made from an excellent fabric last longer and they look fresh and new for a very long time and this saves you money. Unlike hot fashion, they are quick to get out of style and they get ruined easily with one wash. I strongly advise that we buy clothes made from a good fabric. My dearest, please note expensive clothes are not equal to good fabrics. Please educate yourself about fabrics. These are my favorites:

*Satin

*Cotton

*Linen

*Wool

*Hemp.

You can find more information on good fabrics online and don't forget to read the label of the cloth they have this information. My dearest please stay away from bad fabric they only degrade your looks.

Thank you for reading. Please don't forget to share your comments with me. Until next time. Stay blessed and beautiful. XOXO
